About Us

Castle Eaton is a small Wiltshire village located between Swindon and Cirencester, and home to the Red Lion, reputed to be the first pub on the River Thames.

Quiet for most of the year, the summer months see an increase in activity as the Royal International Air Tattoo takes place at nearby RAF Fairford in July.

Occasionally walkers can be seen making their way along the Thames Path that winds between the nearby towns of Cricklade and Lechlade.

Castle Eaton Ladies Club

We were delighted that the Supper Evening on March 6^th was so well-attended and hope that our events through the year will also prove to be equally popular. We look forward to welcoming our new members.

June 5^thA Garden Party - kindly hosted by Margaret at “Whitemead House”,School Lane (for members only).

We all share the catering by each bringing either a main dish or a dessert.
