Castle Eaton is a small Wiltshire village located between Swindon and Cirencester, and home to the Red Lion, reputed to be the first pub on the River Thames.
Quiet for most of the year, the summer months see an increase in activity as the Royal International Air Tattoo takes place at nearby RAF Fairford in July.
Occasionally walkers can be seen making their way along the Thames Path that winds between the nearby towns of Cricklade and Lechlade.

There have now been modifications to the original planning application which have been added on 17th May 2012 for the...anaerobic digesters, plant room, feed and liquor tanks, silage clamps, digestate lagoon, amended entrance and hardstanding along Drove Way. And of course you can also go along to the extra-ordinary meeting on Wednesday, 23rd May in the Village Hall to find out more. Meeting starts at 7.30pm
